Howgill Fells

   Yorkshire Dales
The Howgills are the rounded, slightly folorn looking hills that most people fly past on the way to Scotland. Not frequently visited by the club, they nonethelesss give enjoyable walking in a not-so-steep setting.

More recently, the Howgills have become the destination-of-choice for our Honorary President Sir Chris Bonington when he comes on a walk with us during the summer term.
