   Langdale, Lake District

16 October to 16 October 2016

PAST EVENT: Week 1, term 1, 2016
Cost: £10
Our first trip of the new academic year sees us visiting the beautiful Lakeland valley of Langdale. We'll be catching a coach from campus at around 8:30am on the Sunday morning. After the hour-long journey, walks will be announced and you'll get to pick whatever walk appeals most to you. We'll be finishing at around 5-6pm and the coach will have you back in Lancaster not later than 8pm.

There will be a good selection of walks available and we try to cater for all abilities. Expect a group going up Crinkle Crags, Bow Fell and Esk Pike, another over the Langdale, and of course another taking the fantastic grade I scramble Jack's Rake up Pavey Ark (not for the faint hearted!). All route details will be finalised on the day, but take a look at our destination page about Langdale for some potential route choices, and lots of general information about Langdale.

Sign ups will start at the beginning of week 1, and places normally fill up very fast - so make sure you get your name down early!
